Nathan Schwantes

Nathan began his career in finance in 2009 as an independent life and health insurance agent. He then joined S&A Financial Services, Inc. in 2010, working as an insurance planner & advisor assistant. In 2021, Nathan transitioned to become a registered investment advisor at S&A Financial Services, Inc. In 2024, Nathan and his father, Ronald Schwantes, opened their own Registered Investment Advisory firm called Schwantes Financial, LLC, focusing on helping clients with wealth management and retirement solutions.

Nathan went to Northwest Missouri State University in 1995. After college, he worked as a professional event planner for Stanford Productions. In January of 2000, he started his own event planning company called North Star Events, LLC. Nathan was a member of the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association for 16 years, as well as a past member of the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Over the past 23 years, Nathan has planned & coordinated multiple charitable events in the Kansas City area, helping them raise thousands of dollars for a variety of good causes.

He is also a proud father to his son, who served in the United States Marines, and recently welcomed a granddaughter in 2021 and a second granddaughter in 2023. In his free time, Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and traveling abroad.
